Restore deleted site

    Hi there – my site was deleted at 8:45am on 09JUN in order to migrate the content. However, data was lost upon deletion of the website. I’d like it back, so is it possible to restore my deleted site?

    What is the URL of the site you’re trying to get back? The account you’re using to post here hasn’t owned any sites on WordPress.com since December 2019.

    There is no requirement to delete a WordPress.com site in order to migrate content. In fact, we recommend that your existing site should always stay online and publicly accessible until an import completely finishes, whether you’re migrating to WordPress.com or away from us. Deleting a site before importing the content somewhere else will result in no media files being imported, as those are not included in a WordPress export file, but are migrated directly at the time of import.
