Restore deleted site
-
Hello,
I recently came to realize that I had created then deleted JoshuaPaulBarnard.wordpress.com
I think I did this because I had a wordpress blog on a hosting service that I use to use. But that has become too expensive to maintain, and I wanted to switch over to wordpress.com.
I am not sure when I deleted the site, it was probably over a year ago. If there is anything that can be done, please let me know.
Thank you very much.WP.com: Yes
Correct account: YesThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I was able to get a free domain of joshuapaulbarnard.tech.blog, and this is sufficient for me.
So I would like to close this thread.

Hi there,
Thanks for clarifying that you were able to sort this out. I checked on our end and unfortunately JoshuaPaulBarnard.wordpress.com was beyond our 30 day grace period to restore. At this point it has been removed from our servers and is not available to staff to restore.
I do also see that you used to self-host a site at joshuapaulbarnard.net but it no longer appears to be online. Do you still own the domain? If so you can use it as a custom address (instead of the wordpress.com or tech.blog domain) by upgrading to any of the plans we offer. They all include a custom site address option so you can connect a custom domain.
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
