Restore Deleted Site URL

  Hi there. Can I get back a site url from a wp.com site I created a while ago? When I try to use the old site url, wordpress says it’s been used, not avalaible etc, but that was my site, from my account, username. Is there a way to restore that url?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  Your site ‘joaomiguelaliano.com.br’ is a self-hosted site. It’s DNS points to Hostgator. It wasn’t hosted with WordPress.com. I am doubtful WordPress.com can help you recover your domain.

  I’d suggest you to contact your host. They might help you recover your domain.

  In regards to deleting sites, here is what the WordPress’ documentation has written:

  Deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to re-use its WordPress.com address (such as yourgroovysite.wordpress.com).
