Restore disabled blog address

  Hi, I changed my blog address few months ago, and I think I disabled it for future use, however now I’m looking at going back to the initial blog address. The change address menu won’t let me do it, as the address is being used. When accessed the address directly in the browser, a message “the authors have deleted this site” comes up.

  Is there any chance to go back to the previous site address? Both old and new one were registered to the same email address, so it would be easy to confirm those belonged to the same user.

  Sorry, but deleted site names can not be recycled. Gone is gone, and WordPress.com doesn’t make exceptions to that rule I’m afraid.

  Unfortunately, there is no way to revert back to the old WordPress address.

  I’m afraid that deleting a site is permanent and can’t be undone.
