Restore domain

  Hi all.
  I’ve been paying for domain which I purchased at wordpress few years ago.
  Then I lost my card and etc…. and I always forgot to add the new card to my domain…..
  Now I was trying to do so but the WP only wants to sell me new domain.
  I’ve tried the ‘move-domain’ option but the WP site tells me I need to unlock it… well… how do I unlock it if it’s a WP domain already ?

  My site is now: http://www.drekamamma.wordpress.com
  But it’s supposed to be, and was:
  http://www.drekamamma.com

  Hi Jofo:

  Your domain drekamamma.com expired back in July and is currently between the redemption period and domain release period.

  We’re not able to recover the domain at this time, so you will need to wait for the domain to be released back into the available pool of domains to purchase on a first-come, first-served basis.

  WordPress.com is not notified if or when a domain will be released to be registered again, so we can’t provide any advance warning so we recommend you keep checking often to see if you can re-register the domain and to make sure nobody else registers it first.
