Restore Domain Name

I closed my business which is why I deleted my website a few days ago. However, I totally forgot about how cancelling the domain would affect my email. I still need access to my business email to tie up loose ends. How can I restore my domain name?

Sorry to hear that! I know cancelled domains are a bit trickier to get back; there’s really no way to restore them through the customer side. Blank pages certainly aren’t expected, though, so thank you for letting us know.
If you need us to restore the plan as well, we can do that, as you still have several months left. Let us know!

I need it restored please. I just needed to take website down to stop new potential clients, but still need email to close out my business.

The domain is up and going and should start working soon. Just takes the internet a few hours to catch up.
I restored the plan for you as well. The site itself isn’t restored to pre-downgrade status yet, as that’s a fair bit of work and it sounds like you don’t want it.
But if you change your mind, let us know; we’ll typically keep backups for a few weeks. You could have the site restored, then use a Site Maintenance plugin to show your “closing shop” message until your plan expires.

Oh, and I just realized I inadvertently left out the part about restoring your domain earlier. That’s done, and it should start working shortly.
I see the email still points to Google, so if you’ve cancelled the upgrade with them, please be sure to get in touch with their support as well.
