Restore media files

  We launched two successful DMCA requests for two sites several days ago as they were distributing our copyrighted content. The media files were removed or deleted. We since acquired the websites and now feel that, since we are in control of the sites, the material is fine to be shared again in its original form. However, as the material is deleted, this poses a problem. Lots of sites link to the websites, and this is going to result in lots of irritated viewers! We have read that there is a backup that goes on every so often on WordPress.com, and wondered if anyone has the ability to restore our site from a previous backup.
