Restore my cancelled domain

  I cancelled my domain and bought a new one. I want to redirect the traffic from may cancelled domain to the new domain. How do I change the name servers of the old domain? Old one was registered with WordPress and the new one is registered with Siteground. WordPress says that I cannot map the free domain somewhere else. Do I have to buy the cancelled domain again? if so then how to do that?

  To be able to change the name servers of your old domain and point it to your Siteground hosted site, I first need to restore it as it expired a few days ago.
