restore my domain name

    I removed my domain name because I got a shared server and was attempting to manage the domain name from that company as well. But they told me that the domain names are active for a year before being released. Because I deactivated/removed the domain name from my account here, I no longer have access to it even though it’s still tied up for the rest of the purchase year. I want that domain name, linashamoon.com, so if you could restore it to my account so I can manage DNS instead of transferring it, or release it so I can transfer it, I would appreciate it. Please let me know what I must do to regain access to that domain name.

    Hi there,

    If you cancel a domain within the first 5 days of registration it works differently. In this case your domain has already been deleted from our system and it’s not possible to restore it any more.

    But it still has to be deleted and released at the registry before you’ll be able to buy it somewhere else, so your domain is basically in limbo right now. We don’t control that part of the process. However, it should not be too long before the domain is available again, so I recommend you check every day if you can register it again.

    I have refunded the domain portion of your payment as well, as you did cancel the domain within the first 5 days.
