Restore my site

  Hi, another user transferred (we thought) ownership to me of our site, friendskylibraries.org

  The user deleted his account yesterday and it took the site along with it. How can I go about restoring it to my account @eunicemurphy?

  I did back it up using the export function prior to his deletion, but I cannot figure how to import it without creating a new site.

  We can still re-activate the site, but we’ll need to receive the request from the user who owns it.

  They can restore their account by replying to the deletion confirmation email.

  Since you own the domain name, we can move that to another site for you (we just need to know which), but it won’t restore the content of the deleted site (only the site’s owner can do that).

  Thanks macmanx, the user who owns it also sent in a support request to try to get the site reinstated over to my account. I do not have another site active to move the domain name at this time, but hopefully the other user will get resolution to reinstating it.
