Restore needed
-
I have overwritten my existing blog – chiantinotes.com – and need to do a restore.
I was trying to create a new, second website and was allocated a temporary URL as below.
Somehow I overwrote my existing site. BlueHost advises the error has occurred in Genesis.
Can you please have a look for me. I desperately need the original site restored.
Step 1. Access your New WordPress site
Thanks

Hi there,
That site is not hosted by WordPress.COM. Our support docs do not apply to any sites that are not hosted by WordPress.COM and we do not provide support for them. You are posting to the wrong support forum. We cannot help you here.WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.

I am new to all this technical stuff.
Ihave 2 sites listed on my WordPress.com account. Chiantinotes.com is a year old, the other one I tried to open yesterday – Il Mulinaccio on a temporary URL. I purchased a paris Hotel theme to use on that new site.
http://www.chiantinotes.com is a Lifestyle theme from WordPress hosted by BlueHost.
I overwrote the content and asked BlueHost support for help. They can restore content but advised there is an error in the Genesis side of the site.
I think i need to get the Genesis thing fixed before I can get the store done.
Does that make sense?

Hi again,
Bluehost hosts WordPress.ORG software installs.

sorry, ‘before I can get the restore done.’
Who do I go to for help with a Genesis problem?
Thanks

Posting log-in info in a public forum is real bad – you need to change your passwords
And as @TT notes above – you are in the wrong forum and need to get help at WordPress.ORG
