Restore old blog
-
I had a blog, but haven’t used it about three years. If it still exists, can I restore it? The user name was pbengey and I forgot the password
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That site still exists: http://pbengey.wordpress.com/
Try logging in at: http://pbengey.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

OK, I found the site. Thanks.
1. I can access it by ether clicking of the above URL’s. But when I enter the URL’s in my browser, it just takes me to the WordPress homepage. How do I get to a place where I can log in?2. How do I make this site so I can attach it to a Zenfolio website?

1. Can you try logging in at WordPress.com itself? I’m not sure why clicking the links would produce a different result from typing them. My best advice is to make sure you’re entering them properly.
2. You could add a link to your Zenfolio website, by creating a menu on your WordPress.com site. https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/ Is there anything specific you’re looking to do? I’m happy to give you further advice on this.

When I log in at WordPress.com, I get to the homepage, but all that is there is a button that says Get Started. That leads to a page that allows you to add extra blogs. I don’t see anyplace to enter my site address that will get me to my site.
I want people on my Zenfolio site to access the wordpress blog by clicking the Blog button on Zenfolio.

Can you try visiting your site dashboard (linked below)? That will take you into the dashboard, where you can edit and customize your site.
http://pbengey.wordpress.com/wp-admin/Your actual site is at:
http://pbengey.wordpress.com/As for the Zenfolio site, you’d really just need to create a link — perhaps from the Blog button you mention — to your WordPress.com site at http://pbengey.wordpress.com/
(They call it an “external” site or link.)
I’m not familiar with Zenfolio, but this guide should give you a start:

When I click on http://pbengey.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ , or pbengey.wordpress.com/ in your message, it takes me to the dashboard. OK, good. But when I enter it into the search box on my msn homepage, it takes me to the Web listing for all the WordPress possibilities. It says there were no matching results.
If I go to the WordPress website, I don’t see how to log into my site. -

You shouldn’t enter it in the search box. Since it’s a web address, you should enter it into your browser’s address bar. (http://www.computerhope.com/jargon/a/addrebar.htm)

Sorry, I don’t know the terminology of all this stuff. I have been entering address bar. I still don’t seem to be able to get to my site from anywhere other than clicking on the addresses in your messages,
