Restore Previous Theme

I wanted to preview another theme, but hit “activate” instead of “preview” (didn’t realize there was a preview feature). I’ve searched help extensively and can’t find out how to either revert to my previous theme or even what the previous theme was titled. I also can’t find it by browsing.

This seems like an obvious mistake a lot of people might make. Isn’t there any way to revert or browse previously used themes?

FYI – luckily I was able to find the old theme and reapply it, though I’d still like to know if if previously used themes are logged somehow.

    Hi Sonia,

There wouldn’t be a way to revert to previous themes without finding the theme and re-activating it. You can search for the theme by going to:

    http://theme.wordpress.com

Click on Find a Theme and you can search for your theme by the title as seen here:

Once you get onto the theme’s page you can re-activate it.

Another possibility would be to go to Appearance > Themes in your Dashboard and search for the theme at the top of the page as seen here:

Then you should be able to activate it straight from there.

But, glad you were able to find it!

    Happy Blogging!
