restore previous theme
-
Hey there, I click on activate to get more information on a theme then realized I had changed our theme. Then I went to the theme page and selected the theme we had before – enterprise – only to see it doesn’t have the customization we use to have. Yesterday I exported a free backup. Can you help be get the theme I had before 9am this morning. Thank you, Patty

re: changing themes
Themes are just “skins” on WordPress.COM hosted blogs. You can quickly and easily change themes on any WordPress.COM hosted blog to another one found here http://wordpress.com/themes/ and no data will be lost or negatively affected by the change. The only time you may have to do some work is if you are changing to a dramatically different theme and have done any CSS editing.Provided you are logged in as Admin under the same username account that registered the blog go to Dashboard > Appearance > Themes, Browse themes until you find one you like and click the “activate” or the “preview” link, or type in the name of the theme you want to use when it appears.
After you change your theme all you need to do is go here Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets > Inactive Widgets and re-install them where you want them to appear. The widget contents and settings will be the same as they were prior to changing themes.
Note that every theme will have a detailed theme description page with set up instructions and a live demo site page that you can consult. Here’s an example:

Thanks for your response and any help you can provide. The issues that I’m having are
1) POSTS and COMMENTS rss feeds now appear next to my upper menu and I can’t figure out how to remove them. How can I remove them?
2) I have 3 footers now – somehow we had a row of icons across the bottom before and now they are all in one footer so they appear to be stacked. How can I get one footer?
3) My fonts are different — is there anyway to get info on the previous customizations? I am trying to get that info but it’s possible that the info is gone.

Actually, just found how to restore previous style sheets.
From https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/editing-css/:
CSS Revisions
The latest 25 revisions of your CSS edits are saved and can by accessed using the CSS Revisions link at the top right of the My Sites → Customize → CSS panel. CSS is theme-specific, so all of your CSS is moved to a revision when you change themes. To review or restore past CSS, use the CSS Revisions link.

Hey there, one issue I can’t seem to resolve. I have half a dozen slideshows that ran without a problem before June 10. Now they they seem to hang. If you wait a real long time, they will show. After they show, if you leave the page and return, you start all over again. A message is displayed briefly — slideshow need javascript. I have tried re-creating the slideshows but nothing is helping. Any thoughts?
