  How can I restore my previous URL?

  Hi, my previous URL was http://www.mymuseamused.wordpress.com then changed it to http://www.keepingmymuseamused.wordpress.com

  Could you please help me restoring it to mymuseamused.wordpress.com?

  Hi, this is so strange because I created that account on 4/7 and I received a link to activate my account. If you check the history of http://www.keepingmymuseamused.wordpress.com/ you will see that mymuseamused was my original URL.

  I did a little digging: did you ever actually set up mymuseamused.wordpress.com ? I see you had that username, and changed that. Then set up the site.

  Can you confirm?

  Also I went ahead and checked; given that the old username was deleted when you renamed that, there’s unfortunately no way for us to recover the site name at this point.

  What you can do if you’d like, though, is go ahead and set up a site with a .blog subdomain:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-subdomain/

  So you could have
  mymuseamused.music.blog or … whatever name/url you’d like as long as the name is available. Want to give that a try?

  You’ll just want to be extra careful about changing names/site urls since (as you can see now) that can be difficult to undo.

  hi, I did not delete, just changed the name but it did not say anything about deleting it. I don’t want another alias :(

  Changing a username does delete the old one: https://wordpress.com/support/change-your-username/

  So, we will not be able to recover it.

  I recommend trying the steps my colleague recommended above for something close to what you had before.
