Restore Revisions

I am trying to restore an old version through ‘restore revisions’. However, each time I run it I end up with the latest (erroneous) version? Same problem;em as this guy was having back in 2013….

Whenever a link does not work it is usually a browser issue.

What I post below applies only to a site hosted by wordpress.COM. It does not apply to wordpress.ORG installs on paid hosting.
The Admin login link to the dashboard of that site is

http://markopollo.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_status=draft&post_type=pageStaff are working on improving post and page revisions. The most recent 25 revisions are available for posts and pages.
If you cannot restore from your browser, or locate a revision, or restore from Trash then the content has been lost and cannot be recovered.
re: recovering a lost post or page
If the post was created on the dashboard of your own blog at Dashboard > Pages > Add New then you ought to be able to recover a lost post or page from revisions if needed.

I can locate the revision no problem – I can see it – I just can’t restore it!?

PS – it must have been a browser issue. I tried again several hours later and it worked. Phew!!! ;)

Hi there,
Glad to hear it’s working now. Something I thought might be the issue is that, when viewing revisions, you need to make sure the version you want back is on the right-hand side of the screen, as that’s the revision that will be restored.
I’ve deleted the two pasted-in posts :)
