Restore specific pages from backup

  Hello. For some reason which I haven’t yet been able to explain, a specific section of my WordPress site was sent to the trash. Pages were restored to their original location, but not before being set to a ‘draft’ status. I republished the pages, but any pages which had links or media galleries inserted into them from before, have disappeared. The content which the media galleries presented remains, but I’m now of the opinion that to make things easier, the section affected can be restored from a recent backup. Is there a way to achieve this? Everything I’ve searched for involves a full restore the site, which I don’t need. Just a specific area of my site. Many thanks.
