Thank You , how can i restore a original template i use one template that i choose from your page i was playing around to see how itworks because the one that I have right now is messed up , and I publish the page unfinished….. when I do a web search it say
pattysseetdelights, a fine word press.com site,
    pattyssweetdelights.com
I’d like to change the title and erase the part that says a fine word press.com
    Thank You

  • To change your theme (our lingo for template), you can visit Appearance->Themes and select different ones at your leisure.

It looks like you were able to change the title and description, but if not, you can change those by going to Settings->General. Google, and other search engines, can take a little bit to update, as it is based on when they “crawl” your site next.

Lastly, I notice that your home page is setup to show your latest Posts. If you would rather have a static page (not a blog-type home page), go ahead and create a “Home” page using Pages->Add New. Once you’ve published the page, you can visit Settings->Reading and change the front page option your newly created page.

If you’d like to have a blog also, just not on the home page, we’ll repeat that last step a second time to create a new Page called “blog”, then set that to be the Posts page on Settings->Reading.

If you have any questions or if I was as clear as mud in my explanation just now, please let me know!
