Restoring a previous autosave
-
I was working on a post, and I guess it somehow lost all the additions I made, and reverted to an older save. All the changes I made and work I added show in the history section. But I can’t get it to revert to that save.
Is there a way to go back and load an older autosave? Or do I just have to start over on the post? I would kind of like to not have to start over. I had a lot of work done.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi thisblogisforblogging
Here is the support document that will help you out in restoring the revision:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/editors/page-post-revisions/#restoring-revisionsHope this helps.

Mine only showed one revision, and that revision was missing much of the work still.
Am I just stuck with that one if it didn’t save any other revisions?

If I’m stuck with it, that’s ok. It’s not that far back. It just was a lot of photos. I can just go from here and start over. I just didn’t want to have to start over from the beginning which is what it was making me do when I posted.

Hi thisblogisforblogging,
Oh! What is the name of the post you were working on?
All the changes I made and work I added show in the history section. But I can’t get it to revert to that save.
Do you mean a revision containing the missing content is listed but clicking
Loaddoesn’t add it back again? If so, please try using a different browser to see whether it works there. It might also be worth clearing the browser cache in the one you are having problems with at the moment:I guess it somehow lost all the additions I made, and reverted to an older save.
Was content missing when you opened the post? Or do you recall making a change (adding a link or an image) just before it happened?
Let me know how you get on.
