Restoring access to my admin
-
Dear WordPress Support Team,
I am having trouble accessing my admin account to edit the website. I no longer have the login credentials or access to the email associated with the account. I also don’t have the transaction ID, activation URL or key, or two-factor authentication code. Because of this, I can’t even send out a request to help.
However, I do have proof of billing and would be glad to provide it. I’m also happy to work directly with a team member to verify ownership and restore access to the account.
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,

Hello @barbaramossberg97f91dfcb7!
I checked your site barbaramossberg.com and noticed that it’s not hosted on WordPress.com but is instead a self-hosted WordPress.org site, as you can see here:https://wordpress.com/site-profiler/barbaramossberg.com
In this case, you’ll need to get in touch with your site host, DreamHost, and they should be able to assist you with this.
If you’re curious about the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, this guide explains it quite well:

Please let us know if you have any questions or need any extra help, and we’ll be happy to assist you.
