Restoring Default settings in Theme
-
In learning curve, seems I have inadvertently delected pages with code from the original format. Tried to switch themes, then switch back – still gone. Is there a way to restore default and keep same url?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The reason you blog has a 404 page not found message on the front page is because you deleted the Hello World placeholder post. As soon as you publish a post that error message will disappear. Id that what you mean or not?

I don’t know what you mean by that. The default theme is Twenty Eleven and if you want to change back to it from the Pilcrow theme you have now go here > Appearance > themes and type in “twenty Ten”. When the thumbnail image of the theme appears click the “activate” link.
Also as I do see static pages at the top of your theme and no posts I’m wondering if you are clear in the differences between pages and posts.

OOPS! I’m sorry. I accidentally typed “twenty Ten” above when I meant to type “Twenty Eleven”.

Got it now – thought front page had been somehow altered; didn’t get that it needed the “hello world” placeholder; duh
