Hi, I need to restore my domain psload.com, is this possible?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hello there. It looks like that domain is registered and active on an account already? Can you tell us more?

I had registered the domain myself along with a hosting plan, but then cancelled both within the 4(?) day refund period because I did not realize I could transfer the domain to a different host. I am now wondering if I can get that domain back or is it too late now?

  • Hi! The domain has already been restored to your account, but you should pay $12 for the domain registration as you were already refunded for the first purchase.

In order to proceed with the payment, you should click on the payment link you received in an email with the subject “Payment request from Automattic Inc.” Please keep in mind that if the payment is not made, we’ll need to cancel the domain from our end.

Also, if you are planning to transfer the domain to another host, note that all newly registered domains come with a 60-day transfer lock, which will prevent transferring the domain to another provider, as explained here:

While you can use your WordPress.com domain with any platform by updating the name servers, you can transfer your domain to another external provider if you wish. This guide explains how to transfer a domain registered with WordPress.com to an external provider, known as a registrar.
