Restoring domain to a previously used domain

  Hi,

  Sorry if this question was already posted before but I didn’t find it with a quick search.

  The problem is the following : I first created my blog with an address like previouslyusedaddress.wordpress.com, then I moved the domain to a newaddress.wordpress.com. Now I would like to switch back to the old address, but it seems that the address is no longer available. Any way to go back ?

  Hi Arnaud,

  it is not possible to go back to the old address. Once you change the “example” part of example.wordpress.com, the old address stops working. Visitors will not be redirected to your new site address. The old address will not be available for use again.
