Restoring lost page – not in revisions, drafts or trash but still loads (?)

    Hi there-
I was switching themes and editing my homepage, but for some reason the page itself (with content) seems to have disappeared. I can still find the ‘Home’ page in Drafts, but the content is empty – or rather, it shows the new theme defaults.
Interestingly, when I browse to my homepage, it still shows my own content (the one I’m looking for) , not the theme default one which is the only thing I can actually edit.

If the page (with the correct content) is not available in Pages, Drafts or Revisions, yet shows when it is browsed, where would I find & restore it from?

    Thanks,
    Rafael

Actually scratch that – the standard “latest posts” is what’s showing, not a static page. This is fine, but my real question is, how do I edit its appearance?

In particular, does the home page have “Page Attributes” section? Since it’s apparently not a real page I can’t edit it like one.
