Restoring my domain

  Hello,

  Please restore my domain. I paid the $99 and by doing this I acquired WordPress premium, which states that includes the domain registration, as well.
  Please advice. i am very disappointed that even though I paid the $99 dollars, it still says that my domain expired, when my domain should have been included in my premium package.

  Hi there Margareta :)

  Have you renewed your yearly payment for your Premium package? Your $99 payment won’t be a one-off, and will have to be paid once a year in order for you to keep the domain you registered with WordPress.com

  Yes, i have renewed it and made the $99 payment.
  Please let me know why this happens again. It really doesn’t make sense. I always got 2 notifications, one saying that I need to pay the $29 I guess to keep my domain and the $99 dollars to keep my premium, and I always choose to pay the $99 dollars, but it is so bothering to see that even thouGh I pay the $99 dollars when i want to access my blog, i get the big message saying that my domain has expired. I hate that!

  Hi there,

  It appears that your domain was never bundled with your Premium Plan when you recovered it from redemption last year. I have linked the domain to your Premium Plan so it will be renewed along with Premium next year, and I am emailing our registrar to get the domain renewed for you now as well.

  I’ll let you know as soon as I hear back from them.

  Hi there,

  Just an update: Your domain has been successfully renewed.

  It appears the reason your domain did not renew with your Premium Plan was because the domain actually expired before your Premium renewal date. When you originally bought Premium your domain registration should have been extended so this wouldn’t be a problem, but for some reason that never happened.

  I have now extended the subscription for your domain, so this shouldn’t be a problem again in future. When you renew your Premium Plan next year, your domain should be renewed automatically with it.
