Restoring old domain

    Hi, I recently switched my domain from smillermarlins.wordpress.com to topstepbaseball.wordpress.com. In changing the name, I accidentally deleted the smillermarlins.wordpress.com domain, and now we can’t get all of those old URL’s of my posts (some of which generate a lot of views and are top results in Google). When you Google the posts and click on the ‘Smillermarlins.wordpress.com’ link, it says the site no longer exists. Could I get the account restored so that the old URL’s can link to my new site?
    My friend posted the same question a few hours ago and they said they could restore the account only to me since I was the original owner. So could you do this?
