Restoring site from .wpress backup

    Thank you for taking the time to read. I am filling in for our i.t director who up in quit after 7 years. We are a non-profit with 501c status. Our sql database was deleted (by me-but at Microsoft direction -azure-). Old I.T was using a trial subscription, as to sponsored. We was getting ready to get bill. Y it was deleted. we are now fully sponsored. But Sql database is gone, i tried a restore, now all i have to work with is a .wpress backup …and no ideaof how to do anything but change out hardware and install a OS.

    if you go to web page archive –hart community center… we do thanksgiving boxes,toys for tots, w.i.c, preschool and a row of computers for the teens. We are volunteers i am a board member with autism just trying to fill in, an a bit over whelmed. Thank you for your time and effort

    hartcommunitycenter.org i have a .wordpress file but i dont know what to do with it in order to get it restored.

    Your site was not hosted by us (WordPress.com). It was using the open-source WordPress.org software and it was hosted elsewhere.
