Restoring website to previous website that was on a premium plan.
-
Hello,
I recently checked in on my website and realized there was no card attached on file, resulting in a reduction of premium plan. It seems the change from premium -> free plan changed the website and removed all the content. I would like to purchase the premium plan again and get the website back and running. (This happened in late July 2025).The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

When your Personal plan expired, your site automatically reverted to a free theme because the one you were previously using is only available with a paid plan. I can see you’ve already switched back to the Eventual theme, which is great.
Since you had a custom domain connected before, you can reconnect it to your site and set it as your primary address instead of the default sigmanukappapi.wordpress.com by following these steps:
- Connect your existing domain: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/
- Set your domain as the primary address: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/set-a-primary-address/
Once you’ve reconnected your domain and set it as primary, you’ll be all set!
