Restrict access to the post page
-
I made the home page static and moved to post to a new page called news. I have used a few plugins (page restrict, members) to restrict access of pages to users logged in, but this does not seem to work for the main post page. is there a way to make to post of my site restricted to logged in users only???

We cannot help with that at WordPress.COM. That is not a free hosted WordPress.COM blog. You are posting to the wrong support forum.
WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate, have different log-ins and run different versions of themes with same names. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
