Restricted Site Page
-
Can someone tell me why my site now displays a login page because it is a ‘restricted site?’ If I hit cancel, the page still loads, but I need to figure out how to stop the prompt.

Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello!
I’ve accessed your blog (jessedschreiner.wordpress.com) right now and I couldn’t see any login page to access it.
It’s configured to “Discourage search engines from indexing this site”, but it is not Private.
Could you please send me a screenshot of that login page? You can upload the screenshot to your blog and send its link here.

Thanks for looking into this!
Here is a link to a screen shot of the message:

it looks like you have a link on your site to another site – that is not a WordPress.COM warning I remember seeing in the past –
A username and password are being requested by http://cdn-jpg.theactivetimes.net. The site says: “Restricted Site”

Hi @jessedschreiner: I’m very sorry for the delay in our reply here.
The error in the screenshot seems like it’s being generated from third-party software. Do you have any ad blocking or security software, such as Sophos, that may restrict you from accessing certain sites? If so, please double check your settings so that WordPress.com is whitelisted.
Let me know if that helps or if you’d like to troubleshoot further.
