Restricting my blog to certain readers

    Pages and posts can be stricter with a password, but this password needs to be set on each page or post and needs to be spelled exactly the same way each time, so this is not suitable for me.

    The need of being WordPress users is not suitable for my readers.

    Is there any way to password protect, or otherwise protect, my blog to only certain users I specify, which do not imply the above mentioned methods?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    You can make your whole blog private using the instructions here:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

    But it requires that your readers have a WordPress.com account. There is no way the make a WordPress.com blog private that does not require a WordPress.com account.
