I write a blog about my life working on a sexline. Are there any restrictions around me monetizing my blog?

In order for your site to qualify to use WordAds you must have a family friendly site.
See first please: Types of Blogs that are allowed and not allowed http://wordpress.com/types-of-blogs/
Blogger initiated third party advertising is not allowed at WordPress.COM. Affiliate links are allowed on WordPress.com as long as the primary purpose of your blog is to create original content.
Please also read: Monetize Your Site next https://en.support.wordpress.com/monetize-your-site/ also note affiliate linking section https://en.support.wordpress.com/monetize-your-site/#affiliate-linking in that support doc.
The only advertising program at WordPress.com is called WordAds and it’s for blogs on their own domains that have enough traffic to qualify for acceptance into the plan.
