resurrecting my blog

Help, I haven’t published anything on here in ages, I am considering refreshing and rebuilding. I don’t know if any of this is public right now, I would like for it not to be. Also I am confused about my blog name. Can you help me?

  • Hi there,

There are several blogs on your account. What’s the one you’re referring to?

  • Unknown's avatar

Hi, it’s a mess for sure, I am referring to (email visible only to moderators and staff) I don’t know how to get jesusmyhealer.org off of it. And when i try to go straight to that devomom address, I get my page not the public one, does that mean that somehow I made this thing not public?
    Thank you

  • https://devomom.wordpress.com/ exists and it’s public.

jesusmyhealer.org is not a site here, it’s just a domain name registered with NameBright.

Would you mind elaborating on exactly what you’re trying to do?

I would like to clean it up and start blogging again. I have written a book that is in the hands of an editor and she tells me I would do well to have a platform with followers out there before submitting it to a publisher so that is my goal. I am laid off now so if there was a way to clean it up, build it up and monetize that would be my goal. Right now it’s just a confusing mess

  • Ok, so you’d like to clear all of the content from https://devomom.wordpress.com/ ?

If so, please reply to confirm, as this cannot be undone.

No, I will clean it up. Yesterday when I tried to move posts from published to draft though they still showed up on the site. I don’t want anything removed I think I just needed clarification as to why it keeps showing jesusmyhealer.org under the name of devomom. i will spend time on it today and if I still need help I will get back to you , thanks

One more question though, how do I delete the other sites of mine?

  • To delete any site in your account, click on My Sites at the top-left of the screen, and click on Switch Site. Select the site you want to delete from the list.

Next go to Manage ->Settings. You’ll find the Delete option at the bottom of that page.

To delete a site you’ll also have to first type out the complete address, to make sure that you’re not deleting the wrong site.

I see you’re also a member on the https://blogging101january2016b.wordpress.com/ site, from when you did the Blogging 101 course in 2016. You don’t own that site, so you won’t be able to delete it, so if you want to remove that site, go to https://devomom.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs, look for that site in the list, and click the Leave Blog link that will appear if you move your mouse pointer over the site title in the list.
