Resuscitating old website

I have a website called Last Legs Ventures North. Is it possible to rename this website and start posting under the new name? If someone looks for Last Legs Ventures North would the original content, until I changed the name, still be available?
ALternatively – do I have to start a completely new blog? (Aaargghh thanks! -
You can only rename that site if you are logged in to the account owning that name, https://wordpress.com/support/changing-site-address/ but “Once you change the “example” part of example.wordpress.com, the old address will stop working. Visitors will not be redirected to your new site address. The old address will not be available for use again.”.
If you want to transfer that site from your old to your new account, https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/transfer-a-domain-to-another-wordpress-com-account/
