Retail selling & ecommerce options

    I am interested in eventually selling my products on my website created through WordPress. Can you advise me where to look or what I options I will have to do this?

    Hi there,

    We do not offer any ecommerce solutions for WordPress.com at this time. You do have a couple of options however.

    You may want to consider using a standalone web store through which customers can purchase items and you can direct visitors just through a link on your site.

    Alternatively, you can try to sell any items which you are personally responsible for (such as items which you make yourself; or if you are a singer, CDs of your music; etc. You cannot sell items which were made by others of CDs of someone else’s music) from your WordPress.com site and then use “Pay Now” buttons from sites such as Paypal as a payment solution.
