Retired theme

  Hello,
  About a year ago I purchased the Onigiri premium theme. I’m now starting to develop the blog again, however it states that the ‘theme is retired’. Since I purchased the theme, should I not still be able to use it?

  Hi Nadine, the theme is indeed retired; no new sites can use it. But it is still active on your existing site. Are you running into trouble with that?

  Hello I had the same issue with eris from Themes kingdom. However it looks like the widgets are usable anymore.

  Is it a normal issue with retired them ? or is possible to still use widgets somehow?

  @nouteka,

  Whether or not your theme is retired shouldn’t have any effect on how widgets work on your site. The theme only controls appearance, not how the site works.

  Please open your own support ticket at https://wordpress.com/help/contact, with a link to your site and some more details on exactly what isn’t working, and we can take a look at what’s going on for you.
