Retired theme help!

  I always used the Sela theme for my class websites (for teaching), but now that theme is retired. I can’t find a similar theme that will display the same features (background, social menu at the top, twitter feed on the left or right-hand side). I thought the Stow theme would be similar, but I’m having a hard time customizing, especially adding to the social menu at the top, and there is no space to add a background image. Could you suggest other similar themes to Sela?

  I forgot to add: another retired theme I was using before Sela was Adelle. These 2 had similar menu & page & background image features. Please help me find an alternative! Why do themes get retired?

  Thanks for getting in touch. Themes are retired from time to time. I think that https://wordpress.com/theme/penscratch-2 might be a good fit. Give it a look and write back with any questions.
