Retired themes

  Hello, I’d picked out a few themes last week to present to a web team to decide which to use. However, those themes seem to be retired now. We’re now looking for similar themes (the ones we liked the best were ‘radiate’ and ‘natural’) and also wondering how theme retirement might affect us in the future. The decision to use WordPress was based on ease of use and if themes retire, how will that affect a site that’s using one that retires? Is there warning before one retires? Suggestions for new ones? Do you have to change themes if one retires? How often does this (retirement) happen in general? Does retirement break a site’s functionality or appearance?

  If a theme is retired, you can still use it, but you won’t be able to select it for new sites.
