RETIRING?

    I’m in the process of getting my website started. I’m really happy with how it is looking. I was originally coming to ask about colors that can be customized, then I saw the notice that this formate is retiring… what exactly does that mean? And how much longer will I be able to use it?

    I spent weeks trying to find a layout I liked and I just got the hang of this one. I would be devastated to lose it after all the work I put into it. Will there just be a newer version of this released? Or will it be gone permanently?

    Please help ease my stress about this because I am freaking out. If it is going to be disappearing, can someone recommend a different layout that looks similar?

    Hi there, looking at your above site I see it is currently using the brand new Exford theme. https://wordpress.com/theme/exford

    What theme were you using?

    Even if your chosen theme has a note like “this theme will be retiring soon, please pick a different one” you can continue to use that theme if you already enabled it. At some point you might find that something doesn’t display properly because retired themes are only updated for security issues.
