Retracting Top Menu

  I purchased a theme for my website recently that has a retracting top menu. It is really annoying as a number of my potential customers do not see the arrow to open the menu and I lose them. I had twice asked the theme designer to help me rectify this but there is no response. Can anybody tell me how to keep this top menu fixed?
