Retreiving deleted post

  I just completed a posting and published it. I then decided to do an edit. The post then showed up twice on my dash board. I thought I could delete the first as it was the unedited on. When I deleted the entire post including the edited version disappeared. Can I retrieve either.

  I can do nothing. They really are completely gone.
