Retrieve a deleted site

I deleted a wordpress site and would like it again. How can I get it back? The site is ninaleomoon.wordpress.com. Thank you.

If I can ask, what is the URL of the site you are trying to get back? Also please note that if you change the address of your existing site, we do not have a way to get that back (it’s permanent) as explained here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-site-address/

However, if it was a recent site deletion as explained here, we can reverse this in some cases. See: https://wordpress.com/support/delete-site/#reverse-a-site-deletion

Thank you for your prompt response. It was not a recent deletion, possibly a year ago. the name was ninaleomoon.wordpress.com. If it cannot be retrieved, its not a problem, but thought I would ask. Thank you again.

Hi @ninaleomoon,

I’m afraid that site is too old to restore, and its contents have been purged. I suggest creating a new site by going to My Sites → Add New Site.

Deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to re-use its WordPress.com address (such as ninaleomoon.wordpress.com).

In this case, you can create a site with a similar free address. If you’d like to register a custom domain name, a one year free domain registration is included with a plan upgrade. Just let me know if you have any questions.
