Retrieve auto save

    My computer died and the only revision on my blog post is from over an hour ago. I hate this new format. I can’t do half the things I could on the old setup and now I’ve lost all I’ve written for over an hour. Is there no way to retrieve it? I’m seriously tempted to host with someone else next time.

    When you’re in the new editor, autosaves are saved in your local browser history. If you edit the post and a newer version is available, you’ll get a notice that looks something like this:

    If not, the only version saved your Post Revisions is all that’s available.

    If you prefer using the classic editor, it’s still available by navigating to your /wp-admin/ dashboard and creating or editing posts from there.
