retrieve by default homepage theme

  How can I retrieve the homepage template set for the responsive theme by default? I changed a bit widgets by mistake and the homepage template disappeared. I tried to put widgets back for the homepage but none of them appear.
  I had a loook at help and tutos but could not find similar issue.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  It looks like you may have actually deleted the home page by accident (Page d’accueil). The page is currently sitting in your Page Trash here:

  To solve this issue, hover over the page on the link above and click “Restore”. Then, navigate to your Reading Settings here:

  https://histoiredebuller.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php

  On that page, specify the “Front page displays” options as explained here:

  Set the Homepage

  You’ll want to specify “Page d’accueil” as your front page.

  Hi Jeremey,

  Thanks a lot for your quick reply!
  I restored this homepage but this homepage is the one I created after having deleted the default one by mistake.
  So I tried to fill it in with widgets so that it looks like the default HP responsive theme but I cannot manage having the “welcome” diaporama below the main navigation menu (although I have created a “galery” with diaporama displaying only on the HP).
  Do you know how I can I display this diaporama on the HP?

  Hey Alex,

  To match the home page on the Responsive theme, you’ll want to do two things:

  1. First, you’ll want to set a Featured Image on your Edit Page screen here:

     https://histoiredebuller.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=36&action=edit

     That image will be displayed in the same place as the “Phone, Desktop, Tablet” photo here:

     https://wordpress.com/themes/responsive/

  2. To get the “Welcome” button to show up, you’ll want to set it up in Appearance -> Customize -> Theme Options as explained under “Custom Call to Action” here:
