Retrieve deleted blog URL (not the content)

With deep humiliation, I would like to retrieve a blog URL that I’ve deleted. I have two blogs and accidentally deleted the wrong one. As I had a couple of hundred followers and subscribers, I would like to use the old domain name for the new one. I’m happy to rebuild the content, but really would like the name. It was http://slais.wordpress.com.
Can you help? I really am feeling quite foolish, so please feel free to snicker first.

Deleted blog URLs here are not recycled. That’s why 3 warnings are given and why a vertfication link in an email that must be clicked is sent in order to accomplish deletion.

Thanks. That’s why I’m feeling particularly foolish. I did read the information on recycled names, but as I’m the original owner I am hoping there’s a way to revive it.

There isn’t. If there was then I would be able to get back the blog I deleted years ago but I can’t.
