  Hello, I recently bought a domain from wordpress a few hours ago, and then cancelled it. Now I have the message “This domain is parked.”. What should I do to recover my domain name and transfer it?I would like

  Hi there,

  A parked domain can be handle by staff members so tagging this thread as “modlook”.

  Here your domain is parked because your domain is in pending deletion or cancellation stage, and is not currently in the customer’s account.

  @ghadbanlogine, you have already received a refund for your domain so, to be able to retrieve it, we would need you to pay the registration fee again.

  We can send you a link to the payment if you want but, bear in mind that, you will have to wait 60 days to be able to transfer the domain – it’s a requirement from ICANN for all new domains. During that time, you would be able to map the domain to another host as explained here:

  You can also wait until your domain is released. New cancelled domains are usually released after 5 days.
