retrieve my old theme

  hi, i need to go back to my old theme. i tried out a few new ones this morning and none of them work and now i seem to have lost my old theme or cannot find it. if you can help me. please…

  Do you remember the name of it? If you go to your dash board and go to themes. just scroll through them. it will be there.

  I used Google search and searched the cache. You used Chateau previously http://en.wordpress.com/themes/chateau/ and the default theme is Twenty Fourteen http://en.wordpress.com/themes/twentyfourteen

  Provided you are logged in as Admin under the same username account that registered the blog go to Dashboard > Appearance > Themes and browse themes until you find one you like and click “activate” or type in the name of the theme you want to use and
  click the “activate” link when it appears.

  After you change your theme all you need to do is go here Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets > Inactive Widgets and re-install them where you want them to appear. The widget contents and settings will be the same as they were prior to changing themes.
