Retrieving blog address

  I had deleted a blog with the address theomenwhiskyboy.wordpress.com but now I want to retrieve the address. How must I go about it? I want to receate the blog with the same address but it says that the address has already been taken eve though I have lodged in from the same account.

  Oops! Deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to reuse its WordPress.com address.

  So your only option is to create another blog with a new address.

  For the next time please read Delete Site support document.

  I have a free blog titled “punxinsolidarity.wordpress.com” and I simply wanted to convert this blog and it’s content to a .com domain titled “punxinsolidarity.com.”

  As it turns out it shows at “My Domains” that I have the original FREE blog and I now have a new blog whcih I don’t know how it came to existence titled as “punxinsoolidaritydotcom.wordpress.”com and it is connected to my new domain name.

  What I wanted was the old FREE blog to just have a new title as “punxinsolidarity.com” with all it’s original content. I tried many different things , but with now success or clue as to how to fix this strange connection and convert the new domain to the original FREE blog.

  Anybody feel like taking this stupid problem on? haha!
