Retrieving earlier drafts

  I just spent several hours working on a post (and saved my changes frequently along the way). Now my post is blank! Is there a way to go back to an earler draft, say the second to last time I saved it??

  Go to manage > posts and in the status pulldown, select “draft” and then click “filter” and then click edit on the post in question and see if the last version is there. If it is not there, you might check under status type private as well.

  If it isn’t there, then in all likelihood it’s gone.

  To keep this from happening in the future, you might consider an offline blog editor which will keep a copy of all posts on your hard drive.
