Retrieving files

  Somehow we have deleted a parent page and all associated files. Is there any way to retrieve these?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If you deleted it recently, it should still be in your trash:

  Delete a Page or Post

  Thanks! I don’t see these things there. As none of the editors realize they may have deleted these files, do you know a way to prevent an editor from permanently deleting files?

  There is no way to prevent an editor from permanently deleting content. The best option here is to educate them to be careful. When you click “Trash” you are asked to confirm that you want to do that beforehand, so there should be no confusion.
